My Story

Bri recently finished chemo for the 3rd time for Bilateral Nephroblastomatosis w/recurrent Wilms.  She also did six rounds of radiation.  She is an amazingly courageous little girl with a huge heart.  We are so proud of her.  She attends girl scouts and dance and loves being a princess.  Bri, WE LOVE YOU!

Good News!  Absolutely no changes in Bri's CT scan from Feb.  There is some residual scar tissue on the right kidney and the Nephroblastomatosis is still present.  Dr. Watanabe explained that the lesions attributed to the Nephroblastomatosis will more than likely be a lifelong thing for Bri.  However, they "usually" stop turning into Wilms around age 7.  Counts were good.  Hip Hip Hooray.  Next set of scans including brain MRI, bone scan, EKG, Echo and CT will be in early August.  What a rollercoaster ride!  Thanks for checking in.
