My Story

Brennan was diagnosed with T-cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. He found a lump on his shoulder toward the end of November 2007. X-rays and CT scan showed a mass in his neck and chest. He has since started his journey of chemo on 12/13/07.

Hello!!!

Brennan's chemo went well yesterday.  His counts are good and he's  doing great.  He's feeling a little better than usual the day after chemo.  Small amt of nausea but no throw-up.  He is able to eat.  Maybe because he is able to sleep in and not having to get up for school so early helps. Don't know, won't know until school starts again.

It was nice to see Brendan yesterday at 5C.  We met him on our last stay in the hospital.  He looked good too.   Sierra is doing great too, it was nice to see her and her mom.  Our other friend Robin is in Rochester waiting for transplant.  I heard yesterday that she wasn't able to make it to her prom so her boyfriend brought prom to her.  It was just the two of them with a catered dinner for two and a photographer.  He also brought her prom dress and they had everyting set up on a different floor so she wouldn't know.  I think that is so special and touching.  I just love how these young friends of the children do these special things for our kids.

We hope that you all are enjoying your summer vacations so far.  Be safe and have fun!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
