Well I wish I had some better news, the area of concern has grown. Dr. G does not believe this is cancer related (big sigh of relief) but a slow brewing infection maybe of some sort. Brandon seems to get all the weird rare stuff so who knows what it will be! Being immunosupressed can certainly bring a host of problems and they want to get it under control before it collapses his lung. Next week we will be meeting with a Pulmonologist at Children's in Dallas and will be scheduling a Bronchoscopy surgery to take a look at what is happening in the lung and get a sample of whatever this is. I'm glad we have an aggressive team of doctors in all areas of expertise that are always looking out for Brandon's best interests, I'm confident we'll get thru this bump in the road. I'm of course sad to have to put him thru yet another surgery and even more worried about what they will find, I wish it was me going thru all this instead of him, but we'll get thru it!
