Big Day Ahead - Pray Hard! Tomorrow (well, technically today, since it's after midnight...Friday) we'll go to the clinic for what is supposed to be a pivotal visit. Branagh had her chest CT today (sorry I didn't get a chance to update ahead of time) and the doctors should have the results by the time we see them in the morning. They'll also do her bloodwork to see where her platelet count is, because that could be a big factor in the decision of what's next for Branagh. Please pray, meditate, and think healing thoughts that Branagh's body has eradicated the fungus completely and that her bone marrow has fully recovered. Even if no more treatment lies ahead, she would love to start school without worrying about platelets and IV medications! Like about a bzillion other people, I've been watching the Olympics a lot this week. Seeing the determination on the athletes' faces and knowing what hard work and challenges they've faced, I've realized that this fight to beat leukemia is Branagh's Olympics. She's worked just as hard as any of the medalists, and her victory will be no less amazing. Her cheering section and supportive "fans" are no less valuable to her than those who have followed Michael Phelps all the way to Beijing. You have followed Branagh to what seems like the ends of the earth, and we can't thank you enough. I promise I'll post as soon as I know what's next...whether that's tomorrow or sometime next week! Happy Friday, everyone! Much peace and love to you all.
