Bob Zirbes passed away on February 8, 2007. In these pages you will find Bob's words, his friends words and his family's words during and after his struggle with cancer. Below is something Bob wrote when we first set up this page. I didn't want to erase anything he wrote.

Hello this is Kelly, Bob's sister. I'm sorry to say my brother passed away on Thursday Febuary 8. I know he touched so many of your lives and this is hard news to hear. Bob was an amazing person and a hero to his entire family. We already miss him so much.


A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, February 16 at 7:30pm at St. Denis Catholic Church, 2151 S. Diamond Bar Boulevard, Diamond Bar. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to City of Hope Cancer Research or the Diamond Bar Community Foundation - Bob Zirbes Sports Park fund.
