    Jim and Family,

Thank you so much for sharing all the pictures.  I thoroughly enjoyed them.  I wish I could have been at the memorial service yesterday...Barb meant so much to me.  Such a neat person who lived her faith.

May God bless all of you,

    Jim, Ellyn and Doug,

I am sorry I was not able to be at the memorial. Barb was an exceptionally caring and compassionate person. I have wonderful memories of her. She was a very special part of my life for many years and she is a very special part of my life now.

I have been thinking of all of you…I look forward to seeing you soon.

Thank you for sharing the wonderful pictures and memories of Barb for those of us so far away. I remember her long, beautiful brown hair! Barb's wedding dress was so much like mine in the era of old fashioned Gunnysack style! I also have pictures sitting on the steps of Aunt Gert and Uncle Mert's camp up at the lake. So many wonderful memories! Hopefully we can all get together again one summer at the lake to celebrate Barb's life and enjoy each others company!
My heartfelt wishes to all of you! I so wish I could have been there, but I know we'll see each other again.
    Love,
    Patty Aldrich Kirby

    Dear Jim and Family,
When I first met Barb, little did I know how special she was- and what a support she would be to me as my own mother faced cancer. It was as if she as placed in my life at the right moment. Barb and I worked together @ Christian Light- and it's difficult for me to think of another person of such strength, abiding peace- always giving of herself... Though her journey, with each of you by her side was hard fought- she, now has her reward. I know that Barb drew strength from your presence.

May God grant you peace, and sweet release- and joy, as you remember the very best of times.

    With heartfelt condolences,

    Christopher Sturm

    Dear Jim,

We want you to know how sorry we are for your loss.  It appears that Barbara fought a tough battle and she did it surrounded by those who loved her endlessly.  Support and love plays a big role in these cancer battles.  May fond memories of the past help to bring you comfort on those difficult days of sadness.  We will pray for you to have strength in the days ahead.

    Our sincere condolences,

    Kris & Dennis Swalheim

I will always remember Barbara as one of the sweetest, prettiest, brightest, dimpled blonde student I ever had in class. (3rd grade, 1959-60) Sister Donna, I'm sorry you could not help me reconnect although you tried. My condolences to the entire Wendt and Aldrich Families. May her memory be for a blessing!

This is to the family of Barbara Aldrich. I am passing on my blessings to the whole Family of our very wonderful Barbara. Barbara will be missed by so many people. Barbara was the most wonderful, loving, caring, lady with God always with Barbara. I remember times I would be down because of my illness and would see Barbara, then the love of Barbara always would put smiles on my face. Barbara will be missed by me, Phyllis Woolery so very much, the caring and love Barbara always had for me. My Son Brian Shumard also passes his gratitude to the Family of Barbara also. They was close, Brian told me that he loved to talk to Barbara. The love and caring of other people was so amazing to Brian. Brian loved to get with Barbara and go over the Bible, that meant so much to Brian.  My family is so sorry Barbara had to go through such a long hard illness. We know God was with Barbara her whole life. The wonderful Mother that raised Barbara. Plus the wonderful family Barbara was married into and the family God provided her. It is going to be so very different for us to miss this wonderful lady Barbara Aldrich. We are praying for the healing to your family for the loss of wonderful Barbara Wendt Aldrich. Our love to the whole Aldrich Family.

Dear Jim, Ellyn, Mike, Doug, Sydney, Heather and all family members,

I was so sad to hear about Barb's passing.  She has joined all of the other Angels up in heaven and won't have to struggle any more.  I was hoping to be able to make the trip with Peg for the memorial service on Sunday but I can't seem to get rid of this head cold or whatever it is that I have and wouldn't want to bring it to all of you.  I feel so bad that I won't be able to be there but please know that you are all in my thoughts and prayers and that I will be there in spirit.

    Love you all, Debbie

    Dear Jim and family, <?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />

Sincere condolences on the death of Barbara. She was such a beautiful person. I enjoyed with her on Gould Farm. She was patient and helpful to me and others. I especially enjoyed working together on Sunday supper and have a lot more fond memories. I was so sorry to read about the struggles at the end of her life. But she has a wonderful and supportive family. That is a blessing.

I wish you strength in these difficult times.

    Love Ineke Drees
