Tomorrow marks three years since you have been pain free and flying with the piggies and angels.  I hope you aren't giving yourself a tummy ache by eating too much cinnamon toast crunch.

True to form you are sending in the rain to comfort me.  We will be spending your weekend with other cancer families at Candlelighters camp.  With families who have angels like you, others who are still in the fight and those who were triumphant.  I think it will be good for us to be surrounded by those who have walked this path, breathing in fresh pine air and enjoying everything camping in the mountains has to offer.   I will be thinking of you with every passing moment and sending my love to you.

Life moves on and it is good that it does, but that doesn't mean that it is always easy.  That said I think we are doing pretty good.  I know you don't want me to be sad, but I also know that you would not want me to stuff my feelings away.  Being sad is not fun, but I believe it is necessary to keep everything in balance.

Love you more than words can say!
Forever and always,

Mama
