My Story

Welcome to our CaringBridge site. It has been created to keep friends and family updated about Ben's courageous journey with LCH. Be sure to read the latest in the journal and sign the guestbook.

Disclaimer: This is one family's experience of a rare form of a rare disease. LCH presents differently for every person who has it and there is much still to learn about it.

Hello Everyone,

Today I went to the Maine Children’s Cancer Program to hear how my scans were. Believe it or not they turned out GREAT!!!!  The doctor said my lungs are looking a little better since last December and that there is no sign of any new LCH.  She said I do not have to have scans again for one year!!!!! WHOOOO-YAH!!!!!!!  I still had to go get my blood drawn for labs, but that wasn’t too horrible.  Mom, Dad and I went and got hot dogs from Chicago Dogs to celebrate after.

Have a great day everyone. Please write back to me.  From Ben
