Duplessis, Britnee Lynne
"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." John 3:16. A resident of Prairieville, she died Friday, July 29, 2005, at 11:45 a.m. after a long battle with brain and spinal cancer. She was 10 years old, attended Galvez Primary School and was an inspiration to everyone who knew her. Visiting at Welsh Funeral Home, 426 W. New River St., on Sunday, July 31, from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. Visitation on Monday will be held at St. Mark Catholic Church, Gonzales, from 9 a.m. until Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. Burial will follow in Cornerview Cemetery, Gonzales. She is survived by her loving parents, Terry and Brandi Duplessis Jr. and Angel and Roger Russell; grandparents, Sandra P. Duplessis, Percy L. Cormier and Danny and Cheryl Holt Earnhart and Roger and Lynnette Dixon Russell; three sisters, Rhegan and Kenzie Duplessis and Abby Russell; brother, Cade Russell; and aunts and uncles, Ambre, Heather, Hunter, Dylan and D.J. Earnhart and Chad Duplessis. She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Terry Duplessis Sr. Memorial donations may be made to the Britnee Duplessis fund at Regions Bank, 508 N. Airline Highway, Gonzales, LA 70737.
