I met you JC and Ben on the chair lift at Winter Park over spring break. I took a photo of you both at the top of the Prospector lift. Thanks for sharing your story. You are inspiring and courageous! You put a little extra sunshine in my day that day. I hope your journey continues to be so amazing!

It has been our honor to watch Ben and his parents fight through this cancer journey. When you hear those words "It's cancer" being said about your little boy you never think the world will be OK again, that you will ever smile again, find joy or even learn to embrace the cancer. But you do....through the friendships and shared journey with others you get to the other side.

Blessings Balz family...keep running!!!!

Ben,

I will continue to pray for you and your family. It has been a blessing to watch you growing up the past 6 years to become a wonderful young man. God has special plans for your life and you are answering the call. Have a blast playing your sports! When you have a bad day give it to God! You know that he helps you through the good and bad times. You have seen evidence that he has used the bad for good and you over came!! I live in Acworth, GA and I cannot wait to see what you are going to do with your life! Live it to the full!

I love this picture. Ben will always have an amazing story to share, but it will be wonderful to see where his footsteps lead him. Ben, we are expecting great things from you. You are a miracle in my eyes, and I know God has great plans for you, as well as from Rachel and Jacob. We are so grateful for meeting your family on this journey and as Hollyn says in her speeches, it isn't the end, only to be continued.

God continue to bless all of you and we hope and pray someday to visit you in Florida! Best wishes and hugs to Rachel and Jacob. I hope college is finding them well. Take care Baltz family! You will forever be in our hearts and prayers.

hugs,
Jennifer Peterson and clan

JC, Kim and Ben,

So great to read the happy updates!  We are so glad to see everyone in the Baltz family doing so well.  We know that if Ben is doing well, then this helps the rest of the family greatly.  Love the new foot as well.  So glad these prosthetic companies get that helping kids is a priority.  Keep the updates coming, we love seeing the pics and reading about the great progress.  We were just saying today...we need to consider moving to Florida to be in the warm climate all the time....tired of the cold here...maybe...love and prayers always!

Happy Belated Birthday Ben!!! I hope it was an amazing day. Sounds like you've been very busy. Florida must have a lot of awesome camps, that is great! There is only one around here and Hollyn didn't like it, but she is thinking about trying to get to DC with a teen group next year. I hope Rachel and Jacob are well and that when "s" starts up again that you all have a great "s" year!! Our kids don't go back until after Labor Day, but they won't be done until June 12,2014! A week later than usual.

Well, you all enjoy the rest of your summer!!!
