Psalm 118: This is the day the Lord has made. Let us rejoice and be glad.
Hello CaringBridge family!
I wanted to send a quick update to you, as this Easter Sunday marks a year since mom was diagnosed with cancer. Although Easter is much earlier this year (Easter Sunday was in April last year), this holiday to us is a reminder of the beginning of mom's cancer journey. I often think about how she left her mark on the holidays for us so that we would be sure to remember her always! :)
In true everlovinmama fashion, her story continues to be shared with many. Running today in the Bismarck Tribune is a story about mom's cancer journey. I wanted to share the website link with you in case you have an opportunity to read it, as it is a testimony of mom's faith continuing to be shared, almost 4 months after her death.
The website is:

I would also like to thank everyone for their continued love and prayers for our entire family. We are truly blessed to have such an amazing support system!
The psalm I included at the top of the journal entry is one that is used exclusively during the Easter season. It is a psalm of thanksgiving for being given an opportunity to experience eternal salvation after Jesus suffered and died for our sins. Mom's entire journey, her pain and suffering, was always offered for the salvation of her children's souls and for her special intentions. It also describes God's eternal care and love for us. I truly feel that mom is still here, present with us every day, and that she continues to pour out her love and prayers onto us.
May you be truly blessed this Easter Sunday.
