Today would be Vivian's 1st birthday. We made her a bunny cake (see new photo). A bit of a disaster (forgot the eggs), so don't look too closely! We plan to visit the NICU, talk to the respiratory therapist who was on the night she was born, talk with the nurses, etc. We will take our bunny cake to our friends' house and eat dinner at Chipotle (which opened the day Vivian was born). We've even talked about what present we would give Vivian on her first birthday. Thank you for all your prayers; we have dreaded this day, and though it has been sad, it has also been a time of good memories.
