Just a quick update to let everyone know our trip went great! We had an awesome time and the kids got spoiled!

We went to Animal Kingdom, Magic Kingdom, Hollywood Studios, Sea World, Universal Studios and Gatorland. I took over 300 pictures! If anyone would like me to send them some, just let me know! danielle.ries@hotmail.com

Avas next appts are April 28/09, she has an audiology appointment, bloodwork and clinic with her oncologist. They do not have Ava booked for an MRI or LP and I had the nurse double check with the oncologist to make sure this was correct since the last time we saw her (november) she did not mention changing how often Avas MRI & LPs were.

It is coming up 3 yrs, May 15, that Ava has been cancer free so I am assuming they are stopping the LPs and moving the MRIs til once a year, which would be great and nerve-wracking all at once! We will find out soon I guess!

Ava is registered to start Kindergarten in september, she is not overly excited but not miserable about it either. She continues seeing her O&M instructor, usually once a week for an hour. That is currently the only person she sees, which we are fine with because we have no concerns about Avas progress or development, she is doing wonderful in all areas!

Thorisaz is enjoying school and making lots of friends, he even had a friend over last month for a sleepover. Thorisaz did a beginners soccer program over spring break that was 5 days long, 3 hours a day, which he enjoyed very much and he would like to join a team when soccer starts!

We attended another CNIB camp, we had a good time.

The kids are very much looking forward to nicer weather (less rain, more warmth!) so they can ride bikes and play outside! I am looking forward to summer and not having to wake to my alarm clock! lol.

Well there is not much else exciting going on in our lives at the moment, if anything comes up I will be sure to update! I will update after Avas next appointments too!
