Celebration of Life

It is with great sadness that we let you know that Grandpa Dean passed away yesterday morning while Cheryl was holding him in his sleep.  He fought a hard battle, and we are very proud of him… we know that he is PAIN free and living with our great Lord waiting for the rest of us to join him someday….  We are so proud of Cheryl and for the amazing role she played not only in his wife, but his best friend and provider… what an amazing love story they shared and have shown the rest of us.  We are devastated for our loss, yet are comforted that he no longer has to suffer…

Just a few hours later, our sweet Morgan also earned her angel wings and is celebrating her pain and cancer free life as well.  We are so deeply mourning her loss as she was only eight years old and also had the same cancer as Ava.  Please remember her family as well in your prayers during this very difficult journey they are now facing without their only daughter… remember her brother as he also mourns the loss of his only sibling.

It amazes us how Ava fought cancer the same time as these two… why does this horrible disease happen?  We will never know, but we are proud of our families/friends how they persevered during these difficult years of treatment…

Heaven only is brighter today with these two angels… even though we are sad here without them…

There will be a gathering on Thursday night at McCabe church in Bismarck from 7-8:30 pm and then a celebration of Life on Friday morning at 11:00 am for Dean….  We will be there celebrating this amazing man’s life and his love for so many of us…

FLY HIGH Dean and Morgan… Heaven awaits you now…
