Hello dear friends! We have some wonderful and miraculous news to share with you all about two HUGE blessings that God has provided for Ashley! The first amazing provision is regarding her college tuition. Since Ashley was away from school last year, we weren’t sure how many scholarships she would be receiving for the upcoming year. Her school bill is over $26,000 and we were planning on taking out loans to cover some of the expenses. Well… the final tally is in and Ashley has received enough scholarships to cover her entire bill!! Everything is covered down to the very last dollar so she will be debt free at the end of the year. We have been so blessed and amazed as we have watched the scholarship amounts grow over the last few months. Yahoo!!! The second provision is almost beyond belief for us. After requesting that another test of her blood be conducted, we received the news at Ashley’s doctor appointment yesterday that the results show that “her body has healed itself” (her doctor’s description – we know who REALLY did the healing) and reversed the damage of the chemotherapy and that she is not in menopause and it is possible that she will be able to become pregnant one day! The tests showed that her hormone levels are perfectly normal. The dr. said that she will not be able to know if there is permanent damage that will make it more difficult to conceive until she tries to have a baby someday, but that everything shows that it is possible for her to get pregnant. He told us that no one knows why this healing/reversal happens and her nurse case manager (who has worked in this area for many years) told me that this is VERY unusual and that she has not seen this happen before. Yahoo!!! Yahoo!! (I think this one deserves a double yahoo!!) More good news is that her ct scans are still clear and normal and that her blood work is all looking great. She is now able to go to the next step in her “aftercare” and won’t have to return to the doctor for six months. She is very happy about not having to return for another six months, because it is the next big step in feeling that she is finally able to return to “regular” life. She has been going back for tests and an office visit every month or six weeks so it is a wonderful big jump not to have to return for six months. Ashley is having so much fun staying busy and feeling healthy. She is working three jobs and she feels very blessed that she really enjoys all three of them. She is head over heels in love with her little yorkie, Baby, and he is her constant companion. They have such a wonderful time together and she is definitely the center of his universe! Thank you for your prayers regarding Todd’s job situation. The Lord moved in a wonderful way and we are very thankful for the way that He provided. I am struggling a bit physically right now and would appreciate your prayers. My body got pretty worn out during the last year and I am in the midst of making the rounds of doctor’s appointments (NOT my favorite thing!) to help me recover. Todd and I would both appreciate your prayers for refreshment and restoration of our hearts and bodies. God has been so very, very good to us and we find ourselves marveling on a daily basis at everything He has done. Thank you so much for your faithful support. We are so glad that we can celebrate our latest blessings with you! Jenifer
