My Story

Our child Ashish was born on March 8, 2005. He is the youngest of our three precious children. Our baby Ashish was diagnosed with a rare blood disorder called Infantile Myelo-fibrosis. This particular disorder forms scarring in the bone marrow and it prevents the marrow from producing essential red blood cells, white blood cells, and platelets.

Ashish continues to do well, by the Grace of God. He is off from school for a couple of weeks. He had his Christmas party and concert and he looked adorable on stage. I was so proud of him. He managed to sing and dance to Jingle Bells. At the end of the song he was blowing kisses. He is speaking more clearly with more words, thank God. We had a wonderful trip to Florida during Thanksgiving, which was a blessing. Ashish had so much fun, and he had his picture taken with Mickey and a couple of other characters. He kept saying he wanted to go back to Disney on our drive back. We will eventually have to go back again, when he is a little older, because he will forget. Our Christmas holidays will be busy too, and the kids started to have to so much fun. Ashish will have to begin his next set of immunizations soon. We are praying he continues to be healthy.
