It has been one full year today since Steve had the 9 1/2 hour surgery that eradicated stage IV cancer from his body. God has been amazingly gracious to our family and we know and continue to be grateful for that. Today, at Steve's one year check up with Dr. Levine, once again, CTs and labs were all perfectly normal and cancer-free.

It is so easy to grow complacent and begin to take for granted the daily miracles, but please occasionally remember Steve in your prayers. The recurrence of the pseudomyxoma peritonei tumor is extraordinarily high and especially in the first three years, but can recur even after 10-15 years. We don't take for granted the health, power, and healing that prayer supplies.

Thank you all for your encouragement and caring. I am still impressed at the number of friends and acquaintances who ask me how Steve is doing. The response is, "He's doing just GREAT!."
