I followed Ariel for a long time but rarely ever posted. I just want you to know that my heart breaks for you over the pain that you are still enduring. I will continue to pray for you and your family as you move through the days and months ahead while trying to cope with your unbearable loss. God's peace be with you.

Crystal,
I have the Pink CD in my car and I constantly play "Blow Me One Last Kiss" and think of Ariel every time because of when you wrote about how on Hospice, blind and sick, she got up and started dancing to it. Almost every day I listen to it, so know you both are constantly with me.
I just googled the "Photograph" song, which also made me bawl my eyes out because of Vinny and Ariel… It is here if anyone wants to hear it: http://https//www.youtube.com/watch?v=f00fgKzRtdo

My daughter also started listening all of the time to the Ed Sheeran and Taylor Swift Song "Everything has changed" which also breaks my heart.

Also, the other song that makes me think of them is "The Fault in Our Stars" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u36Ngi6gdQo  Have you seen the movie or read the book???  Heartbreaking but beautiful.

Know I am thinking of you all of the time and am here if you ever need to vent.  Ariel is never forgotten.
Love,
Sarah   http://www.caringbridge.org/visit/vinnydigerolamo

We have never "met" but our mother's hearts are connected by the God given blessing-mothering wonderful children!
Thank you for sharing your feelings. You can not know how your words impact my life. As you write, you and I are sinners, but the Good News is that we have Savior who understands us, gave all for us, and who promises that we will all be together in a place with no pain or sorrow.
Holding on to His promises, my heart reaches out to yours.

Crystal and family, I'm a friend of Melinda Bailey's and followed Ariel's beautiful story through the last months of her courageous and inspirational life. I wanted you to know that I was rooting for her Giants through the Series, and actually had her on my mind in a department store when "Try" came on the sound system. Of course I gasped and some tears leaked out, and I stopped to think about the areas in my life where I can do better, be braver, and help others. Please know that Ariel's impact will live forever. I send my love and prayers to you all.

I just finished reading the  SundayContra Costa Times, What a great article honoring Ariel & the San Francisco Giants, especially Sergio Romo. How awesome to see this article on the FRONT PAGE.
As a Home & Hospital teacher for over 20 years, there are students who touch  our hearts. Ariel, and Elora, Ian, Jason & Crystal, all made a huge difference in my life. The memories are  still terrific.
I hope the Giants are awesome as the World Series nears. Ariel will have the best seat of all!

Happy Birthday in Heaven to Ariel and Happy Birthday on earth to Elora.  I bet Vinny is baking cakes for Ariel and friends in Heaven and licking off all the frosting  before they can take a bite!!   I am so sorry it turned out to be this way and I wish I had the power of magic to turn back time and change the outcomes for all of our friends who have lost a child.

Our children lived so well though in their short years, they loved hard, they laughed hard, and knew exactly what they showered the rest of the world with.  I still think of Ariel every time I play "Blow me One Last Kiss" by Pink in my car.  I play it just for her at times, and turn it up and sing at the top of my lungs just like she did.
I think of you often and am so glad you updated again.  Baby steps, Crystal… until we see them again.
Love,
Sarah http://www.caringbridge.org/visit/vinnydigerolamo
