Robert Murphy >Jacob's Dad<

Just a note of encouragement to each of you to take to heart the knowledge that God's love for you is never ending and His purpose for you is bigger than any problems we could ever struggle with. God promises to fill our needs as we share compassion and His love to others. Even while you walk through the difficult burdens and trials in your life continue to look for opportunities to encourage and uplift others and we know you will be enriched.

But be wise and prepare yourself "Stand therefore, having fastened on the belt of truth, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and, as shoes for your feet, having put on the readiness given by the gospel of peace." Protect yourself  "In all circumstances take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming darts of the evil one; and take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God," and strengthen yourself "praying at all times in the Spirit, with all prayer and supplication." Stay on God's focus for you "To that end keep alert with all perseverance,"  Ephesians 6:14-18

With a focus on God not promising to always gift us with what we "want" but does promise to provide what He knows we "need," remember with God ALL things truly are possible. May you see fruit of His work on you, with you, though you, and around you.

We continue to cover you in prayer. Hold fast to Hebrews 6:19 ⚓️

Sending you love and hugs

Dear Sweet Friends,

We will continue to pray for all of you as you continue your journey through grief.

Since I recently retired, and my email has changed, I wanted to drop a note to you so that I would get your CB updates at home.  Many of us don't do facebook, and I count on CB to follow your journey.  Please let us know if you plan to take down Ariel's site.  b

RISE UP SLOWLY, ANGEL

Rise Up Slowly, Angel,
I cannot let you go.
Just drift softly 'midst the faces,
In sorrow, now bent low.

Ease the searing anger,
Born in harsh, unyielding truth.
That death could steal my loved one,
From the glowing blush of youth.

Rise Up Slowly, Angel,
Do not leave me here alone.
Where the warmth of mortal essence,
Lies replaced by cold, hard stone.

Speak to me in breezes,
Whispered through the drying leaves.
And caress my brow with raindrops,
Filtered by the sheltering trees.

Rise Up Slowly, Angel,
For I cannot hear the song,
Which calls you through the shadows,
Into the light beyond.

Wrap me in a downy cape,
Of sunshine, warm with love.
And kiss a tear-stained mothers face,
With moonlight from above.

Then, wait for me at sunset,
Beside the lily pond.
And guide me safely homeward,
To your world which lies beyond.

Just spread your arms to take me,
In reunions sweet embrace
And we shall soar together,
To a different time and place.

Crystal,
I fully understand and feel the same way as you. There are no presents under the tree yet, and none of us are ready for the holiday. Christmas, as it is for you, just reminds us that it was Vinny's favorite and that is the week he was home on Hospice.  So I do know what you are going through.
I hope in some small way you can enjoy some of it for the sake of the other children, and in Ariel's memory.  Maybe if we try to remember the happy times she had on Christmas…
She touched so many lives.  Her memory will always be with us.
Love,
Sarah www.caringbridge.org/visit/vinnydigerolamo

The tears still come  every time I think of Ari. She was truly an angel. I cherish the memories. Ari would want us to be happy, to celebrate Christmas, even though it hurts like HELLO!
I've lost 7 students over the years. That's painful when it's one on one teaching. Ari was my #7.
Try to carry on and do all the things you did with her. I know it doesn't get any easier without her. We all miss her.I look at her picture from time to time and she keeps me going.
I will always miss her. She touched my heart.

There are no words to comfort you...just know you are STILL in my thoughts ALL the time.  She was a BEAUTIFUL little girl and I KNOW she would want you to go on with your lives...it's HARD...I'm sure, but I don't think she was the selfish kind that would want you to keep on living.  Again, can't imagine what you are going through especially a year since you lost your little girl.
