Day . . . 17??

Ok, sorry I've missed a couple days - but I'm home now!!!

After my pace maker was installed by Dr. Fortuna, I got just a little bit grumpy again. Give a girl a break - only just had my first heart surgery a couple weeks earlier and there they go doing another! Oh, well - the surgery seemed to go pretty well. After just 24 hours of rest, Mom and Dad got to take me home!

Home looked a lot different - > really good!! My brother & sisters decided to stay put for a couple extra days to let me adjust. They came home last night. Buster was really really glad to see me. He must've followed me around the house for the first few days - in fact - he still does! Anytime I make a sound, he comes in to check on me. Good dog! Everyone is very happy to see me - and give me lots of love.

I know its been very helpful for Mom and Dad for all the really nice people to have been helping out. We've been getting meals, we've had some folks helping out, we've gotten cards and letters - I know its meant a ton to the folks. So thank you to all you nice people!! There have also been folks from all over the world praying - and I appreciate that a ton!! I know it helped out!!

Oh, and I finally got to go down to CJ's and get my mocha! Before anyone gets upset about me drinking espresso drinks at my age - all I got was my paci dipped in the whipped cream - but that's enough for me . . . for now. I'm sure I'll be drinking coffee with Mom & Dad before you know it!

Now just because I'm done in the hospital doesn't mean you have to stop coming to check in on me. My daddy says he's going to build me a web site with lots of the information on here - and a ton more. My mom says she has over 350 pictures from my hospital stay - and we'll have lots more information on folks like T.O.U.C.H. - OSF St. Francis & the Children's Hospital - and more. So come to www.ArabellasHeart.com and say hello!

Thank you for being with us as we travelled along this journey. It's not the kind of thing you want to do alone, and we thank the Lord for all the wonderful folks that have gone with us - and helped ease our burden.

Love - Arabella.
