Well, let me begin by saying---the young man ate me under the table at Red Lobster today....It is wonderful to see him with a healthy appetite and looking so good.........we were on the go from a little after noon to almost 8 o'clock tonight----we went all over Pensacola-----shopping....visiting........shopping...........visiting....more shopping...Did I happen to mention that we were shopping??? that boy LOVES to shop......we went to the mall, to gamestop, to Hobby Lobby, to books a million....in between shopping we visited people who had prayed so hard for him these last few months..............most of them had never met Ant and it was a HUGE surprise to them that he was in town.
We had SOOOOO SOOO much fun and I think we were both sad to see it come to an end...we were BOTH exhausted...happy and tired....and I don't know about Ant, but I am STILL stuffed!
He looks good, he sounds good......It was just the most wonderful thing to spend time with him today... I am anxious for him to get all well and move back home for good!
He is such a "deep" kid..we had the best conversation today. Talked about transplant, family, and just basically life in general.......OH, we found the COOLEST shirt today....ya know how much this child LOVES his Wii machine and evidently there is some character in the Wii world called a He or hii or something ( i know NOTHING about Wii) Anyway----this shirt says "Hii saved me" and it has a Jesus character on the front and says John 3:16...He LOVED it, thought it was the funniest thing he had seen all day........He is the proud owner of the shirt now...
Well, I think that is enough for now---he has to head back to TX on Fri. morning, so let's pray that he and Mom have a safe and UNeventful trip home.....His labs were fine yesterday...If anything changes, I will update.........
Thanks for all the sweet messages in the guestbook!! 2 new pics on photo page
