Hi Friends,

We had the 1st annual Pleasant Loop walk for hope yesterday here in North Oaks. What an amazing day! Thank you so much to those of you who came out to walk and support the cause. It was so inspiring to see people come together with such energy and love. So far we have raised over $1500 for charities, and if you would still like to contribute, please send a check to me (written to one of the charities below) by Mother's Day. Also a quick thank you to those that made it happen!

  • Kristi & Shell Wheeler
  • Heike & Todd Chervany
  • Erin & Phil Apel
  • Sean and Gina McDermott

A woman came up to me yesterday who had just lost her aunt (Linda Zemotel) to breast cancer on Saturday night. A strong reminder to why we need to keep fighting.

If we can get the support, we will hopefully be able to do the event each year and I do HOPE to see you there, the first Sunday in May, in 2009!

I feel as though this weekend was just what I needed to break out of "the dark" and into the light. I am feeling so energized and positive and ready to live life to the fullest. Thank you to all of you who have stood by me and helped me get through this winter. I really, honestly, couldn't have done it without you.

Be healthy, life fully, and shine your brilliant light!
