We are back from the conference.  Well we came back Sunday.  We learned so much from the doctors and the others parents.  Dr. Escolar(doctor Alysa used to see at Chapel Hill, NC)  was there and asked how Alysa has been doing.  We got to talking about the whole hip thing and her meds.  Dr. Escolar said do not do the hip surgery.  She recommends having the tendons or whatever they are called cut so Alysa can go back into her AFO's.  She also said talk to Dr. Vanderver about increasing her Baclofen and taking her off the Artane and the Clonazepam and put her on Neurotin.  I emailed Dr. Vanderver today about all of this to see what she says.  I am really confused now about the hip surgery.  I am happy that Dr. escolar said not to do it b/c the less surgery the better.  She als osaid the with the botox there is another kind of injections she can get.  It was so nice to meet almost everyone that I talk to on the site.
When we got home Matt and I took he boys fishing.  Then after that it was off to Hunters baseball game.  Hunter's team won.  It was great to see him out there having fun.  Both teams got All-Star medals after the game.
Now I am getting hte house clean and packing b/c the kids and I are leaving Sunday to go to Corolla, NC for a week.  We can not wait.  We have or own privite pool at the house.  There is so much to get done.  Well got to go for now.
