My Story

Welcome to Angelica's caringbridge site!

Angelica was a normal healthy 33 month old toddler until New Year's Eve 2006 when she started to have some right hand weakness.  She was dx with a JPA/PMA Brain Tumor.

Hi everyone,

Angelica continues to feel fabulous!
Her seizures are under control with the keppra and she doesn't cry or fight when it's time for her meds.

She is still receiving PT/OT at Children's once a week and now weekly at her school as well.

June 1st was her puppy, Fuzzy Baby Star Boo's, 1st birthday and we had a Puppy Party!  We invited the neighbor's dog over and they played and had dog ice cream! haha
Angelica LOVED it.
Our lovely neighbors then gifted Angel and Fuzzy a dog stroller.
Yes, a dog stroller.
It's actually kinda cool and Angel and Fuzzy both enjoy it.
It also helps Angel walk better and use her right hand more so it's really like therapy without her knowing. ;)
I added a few new photos.

Our swimming pool is open and we have been trying to get Angel in the pool.  She is very afraid of it and will only sit on the steps.  So her dad got her a tiny kid's pool and she's been good with that.

Since her MRI was stable in May she has now goes to a 6 month MRI schedule instead of every 3 months.  Her next scan should be in October.

Thanks and love,
Rebecca
