Hi everyone... Just wanted to give everyone a quick update on Angel's Birthday Party and our recent trip back to JHH. I dont remembered if i mention that Angel's party was @ Chucke Cheeses. We had a great time! All the family and friends came to help us celebrate his Big # 2. Angel had soooo much fun running around, he didnt know which direction to ran so he ran all around non-stop, he tried a couple of rides but he was tooo busy just wanted to go everywhere..he met with Chucke himself and gave him a High 5, played a lil with Adrian, my 8 month old nephew. My dad, gio, my brother,stepmom, my lil sis, Kayli, mariana, my granparents, my aunts and a couple of other friends and family were there to helped Miguel, and I celebrate our son's 2nd bday. We cant believe how fast our lil baby has grown..He tries to be so independent but at the same time can be such a baby when he wants too..its amazing to see how well he's doing after having such a rough start in life... which brings me to the bad / good news, i still dont know how to take it..Yesterday Angel had a CtScan done of his chest to check the 3mm lil something they found last April while doing the routine 3 month check-up..the lil something they found in April is stable (meaning it hasnt grown or gotten smaller) in the past month, which is the GOOD NEWS, the bad news is that they found another lil something on his right side about 2mm ( which according to the doc is very, very small). Now here comes the second part of the bad news..i dont know if it was a miss communication between the doc and us or what the heck happen, but it turns out the all this time that we believed Angel had been having clear CT scan results was a mistake...since 10-17-06 they had been monitoring a lil 3mm lil something and we had no idea that was going on...now as u can imagen we were in shock..but felt a lil relieve in all this nonsense that the lil something hadnt grown, as a matter of fact it had gotten smaller, now its 2mm..so the doc feels confident that it isnt something we need to get to concern about cause if it had been the LCH it would have spread or gotten bigger, which they havent. Angel will have another Ct Scan done 10-10-07 ( no time yet) , which will make it his 3 month check-up. As you can all imagine we'r very scared that Angel might get sick again, but we have faith that he will remain in remission..so we have nothing left but to wait and see and pray that God give us the miracle to have our son healthy. please keep my baby boy in ur prayers !
