A new round of tests marked the one year anniversary of my autologous bone marrow transplant. Once again God has been faithful in directing my steps, preparing me for His future work, and giving me the tools to glorify Him. I feel that His grace, mercy, and peace increase tenfold every time I release parts of my old self and its selfish ambitions and surrender them to Christ. I only regret the fact that I cannot give more to my Lord, because the human mind’s scope can only realize and release such things in due time. If only I could surrender everything at once!
This last round of tests has shown that my body has almost fully recovered from the transplant. The tests included a bone marrow biopsy, a pulmonary function test, and a blood draw/lab test. The bone marrow biopsy revealed that my bone marrow is recovering quickly and healthily; the pulmonary function test demonstrated that my lungs are in-taking 94% of the normal volumes of air; the blood draw/lab test showed that my white blood cells, red blood cells, and platelets are back to normal counts.
Thank you for your continued prayers, posts, and support.
Life is meaningless if it is not to glorify Christ!
2 Cor 12:9
“But he said to me, ‘My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.’ Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ's power may rest on me.”
