NEW PICTURES!!
OK, it's official. Karrigan is walking. She is everywhere, even more than before. If she falls down, she gets right back up and goes again. It's a whole new world now. She is discovering she can get to places quicker like this instead of crawling. She is cutting about 5 teeth at one time, but doesn't seem to be having any problems with them. So she has about 8 teeth now which means more table foods. Yesterday she ate green beans, mac n cheese, mashed potatoes, spaghetti, bread, carrots, grilled chicken, pears, and cantaloupe at a restaurant. She has figured out the chewing thing now. So maybe soon we can be completely off the formula because she's eating meat now, and we can stop the baby food.
She is continuing to be well. She finally got over the coughing due to the quick work of the albuterol treatments. She has been in our pool, to the park, to the zoo, to the library and to Vacation Bible School. Some of these her first time doing these things. Every day she discovers something new and her personality is coming out and changing more and more. She is learning how to pester her big brother like she is supposed to, but in turn he is being the big brother and pestering her too. How I've looked forward to these days.
She loves walking outside, and when it's time to come in she lets us know right quick that she's not happy about that. I thank God everyday that she's at this point in her life. Our beach trip at the end of July should prove to be interesting this year. With her walking she will be all over. I only hope she doesn't eat the sand. She goes back to the CF clinic on July 14th. I will let you know what they say after that.
I still don't know anything about work next year yet, I should hear in August sometime. Please continue to pray that if it's God's will for me to go back to the preschool next year that all will go smoothly and I will have care for Karrigan each day. Right now I have Wed. and Friday taken care of, Mondays are still up in the air, but hopefully a neighbor will help me out on that one if I get to go back. We thank you all for continuing to keep up with Karrigan on the CaringBridge site and on my Facebook page. Thanks for all the prayers that keep coming our way.
Love,
Jonathan, Amy, Konnor & Karrigan
