I realized there may be people reading this because of the one-year mark, so I should probably do an update.
I had my seventh (and hopefully final) surgery last month, to reconstruct my torn ACL. I'm taking classes part-time this semester and I'll be graduating in May - a year later than I had hoped.
In the past year, I have only worked four shifts at my part-time photo processing job. However, I have been working with Chi-Hi's band again, and this year I wrote the music for all the mallet players. This year the staff has faced many challenges, some expected and some unexpected, but I think we have all been inspired by the determination of the students.
