Things are moving along, Amanda does not seem to be as "sick" as she has been for the past few days.

On Tuesday they were able to get a PICC line, it did take 18 sticks and 5 hours, but a line is placed. That is good news for us, that means she would be able to go home on the antibiotics and continue her treatment there instead of staying here in the hospital. Now, that is good news!!

So, as soon as her "clinical" status changes she should be able to go home.

She was really sick, I honestly have not seen her this sick!! I really feel bad for her!! She has been really struggling with feeling pretty crappy.  She does make all of the nurses laugh when they ask her why she is here again she quickly responds I just have an infection. As if to tell them, at least I will get better!! This cracks me up every time some one walks in here and she tells them that!!

So, that is the plan as it stands.... We will be here until at least the begining of next week, if not longer!

As far as her responding to the antibiotics there has been improvement, we have to hope that continues.
