Happy Mother's Day!! Well, we got out yesterday around 2:30pm. The oncall doctor didn't want to let us go...but we begged & pleaded for them to do a blood draw earlier in the day. The doctor finally gave in, the counts came back great, and we were out the door!!! HOORAY!!!!!! We go back next week for counts to ensure things are heading in the right direction...then we have to set up a consult with the doctor to determine when the port comes out. After all that, we only have to go in like every 3 months. I can't believe we're finally in the clear...or at least with being a regular patient. Thank you all for your continued support!
