Posting the final entry on this site is a reason to celebrate in this case.  We'll miss the wonderful postings you've written to keep us involved in Allan's progress and healing.  You've been a tremendous support to him and your family, and your presence and encouragement must have played a huge role in his recovery.  Patience is a virtue that you've both demonstrated during a very difficult time.  We join with your in celebrating each day that God gives us.

It occurred to me, and probably to others, that Allan could help the Board of Trustees greatly by resigning and offering his services as the new President of FSU.  Who better to help continue the legacy of excellence there?

Dearest Tonie & Allan,

It's amazing to witness the power of prayer and its encouraging to learn of the multitude of individuals who expressed their faith to you through your journey. God always answers our prayers according to his will and not ours. I truly believe that blessings come forth from obstacles placed by our lives by no fault of our own.

We are to give thanks unto God for all things in our lives whether big or small and whether good or bad. You my friend; are a living testament of that. I am thrilled Allan is continuing to improve and gain strength. I sincerely pray 2014 will be a year of continued blessings to you and your precious family.

Thank  God for the power of prayer -- and Allan's determination!  And for a loving family to support him through this terrible ordeal!

Mr. Speaker, don't overdo it too soon... although I'm thinking after all you have been through, you will be like a newborn puppy full of energy and excitement soon!

God bless you all and so thankful you are back home and getting better!

Your old state film commish,

Paul
