Hey Everyone! As you may have previously read, this year I am the "Honored Hero" for the Light the Night Event that is on Oct. 11th at 6 pm at the Memorial Hospital Miramar. I don't necessarily like the name "Honored Hero" but I will do my best that evening to be a great representative of those who share similar situations dealing with these diagnosis'. To me, my honored heroes are all of you, my family, my doctors and nurses, and everyone who has played a role in my life to get me where I am today! These past years since I have been "better", my team has dwindled down with participants compared to when I was actually battling in the hospital. I was wondering who would like to jump on the banwagon this year to make it the best year ever? It really is a wonderful event. There is lots of food, fun for the kids and all in an effort to make a difference. If you would like to be a part of our team, please email me and let me know that you are interested and I will give you further details on how it works. I know that times are tough right now financially for a lot of people, but please remember, if everyone could get donations from others even if it is just a dollar, it adds up and can make a significant difference. Even if somehow we can get companies to participate. I would love to surpass our goal. Please pass our site information on to friends, family, co-workers and whomever you may think can help make a huge impact this year! I sooo would appreciate whatever, even if it's a penny and that is the truth! The lil' things add up! Incredible stories have derived from a penny! I know those who are newly diagnosed, those who are stilll battling and even those who have passed would be incredibly grateful for your effort in making a difference! Thanks for your continual support! Here are the links. If you can't get through to them just by clicking on them, just copy and paste them in the browser.
