Poppa is home and doing better.  I know they were so happy to see their own beds!!!!  Thank you for all your prayers and support for them these past few weeks.  They still have a long road ahead so keep those prayers coming!

The photo on this entry is of Alex wathcing the fireworks from the top of Children's Hospital parking deck last year.  He is in a wheelchair because we had had a lot of company all day, and he was too tired to walk over.  He had received heavy doses of chemo that day as well.  Nunny had grilled out hotdogs and hamburgers and brought enough up to 4-tower for our family and friends who were there, the nurses, and some of the other families who were in the hospital with their child as well.  We certainly made the best of it then!  We are sooo blessed to not be there this year, but our minds and hearts are certainly with those who are........Alex is having a relaxing day at home today.  We are off to a friends house to go swimming tomorrow and then probably to the lake on Sunday afternoon.  Please remember all the families who will be spending this holiday weekend at Children's!  We were there last year, and it wasn't nearly as much fun as going swimming!!!!!!  I hope you all have a fun and safe 4th!!!!
