Hello...my name is Alex Samo and I am now a BIG BROTHER!

What do I think of being a big brother?  Well, it has been an adjustment, but not as bad as maybe Momma thought it would be.  Of course, I am really wanting to have lots and lots of attention.  That's a given.  But I am warming up to my new "sis-sis" more every day.  In fact, today, I came up to her and voluntarily shouted directly into her ear, "LOVE YOU!".  She was a little startled but she didn't cry, so I know that she liked to hear it.

I think she likes me too...she's all about staring at me.  And I like to sit by her on the couch and just look at her too...she is very tiny, and it's hard to ever think I was once her size, and smaller even!

Today, I sat with her on the couch, and sweetly laid my precious favorite blankie right next to her face, so she could share it with me.  Momma almost cried, it was so sweet.

How did I do when Momma was in the hospital?  I did very well, thankyouverymuch!  Grammy Samo took care of me all week, and I think she did a fantabulous job!  We had a great time, and I got in lots of hospital visiting time with Momma, so that helped a lot too.  My favorite part of the hospital was riding the elevators (my favorite letter is "B" and there is a floor "B" in the hospital, so I was always excited to ride the elevator and say "BBBBBBB" whenever we got there.

My other favorite part was going on stroller walks down the hallways.  These were given to me by a plethora of people...Daddy, Grammy, Papa, even Momma after she had a couple of days to heal a little bit.  It was great fun...although I was there to see Momma and I really needed to be with her, as long as I was in her VICINITY I was fine.  I didn't have to sit next to her or anything...there were too many other cool and exciting things to check out at the good ol' Hotel Mercy.  :)

I DID get weighed last week...what with all the hoopla, Momma forgot to call and cancel my home nurse, so she came to the house and Grammy was there!  But it was okay, they weighed me anyway...and I only lost 1 ounce, so that's not bad at all!  This week I will not have a weigh in at all, because my nurse is off for the week.  So we will all have to be in suspense until NEXT Wednesday.

Well, I better skedaddle, as we are going to small group soon, and I have to gather my toys and get ready.  Enjoy my new pictures, by the way!
