Alex seems to be doing better and I was actually able to put his hip harness back on tonight. If he is supposed to wear it I would really rather he have it on. Hopefully he won't wake up because of it tonight.

One thing I have noticed since Alex got his cast off is that his hips are aleigned whereas they were always crooked and he was curved as a result. He also had no or very little strength on his right side as there was no socket to give his torso the stability it needed so he always sat up crooked too. Alex now sits straighter and does not slump over on the right side as he used to do. So we are very excited by the possibilities!
