This week is our last chemo round – YAY!!  The end is in sight.  Alex will then have rounds of radiation to his lungs.  Not sure when that will begin, but in the near future.  We are still in limbo until the scans are preformed to let us know how everything has been working. We are hopeful and looking forward to a positive report.  After going through all of this – surely it will be good!  Thank you again for your interest and prayers.

The North Plano facility is very pretty and new and in a nice area compared to Downtown.  In fact, there are horses on the property and Alex and I ate our dinner yesterday watching the horses. It was very peaceful and relaxing before we went it into the hospital for his treatment to begin.

Because the facility is so new there are not many patients; so the doctors and nurses can spend more time with Alex.  He seems to really enjoy the special attention.  We really are grateful to the wonderful professional doctors and nurses at both facilities of Children’s Medical Center.  It is amazing how they treat each patient with compassion and expertise. We are truly blessed to be here, knowing Alex is getting the best care possible!
