Alex is doing great! She is healthy, happy and loving the summer! She started preschool this week for 3 hours a day and she is loving it! She is playing with the other children and she didn't even cry the first day Chad and Missy brought her. The preschool is around the corner from their house, so its close if Missy needs to run over there. The teachers have already fallen in love with Alex and they weren't nervous about her having special needs. (colostomy bag etc.) The teacher at her school is amazed with her abilities and has told Missy she is so smart. (we knew that!) Alex is swinging with the other children and sliding down the slide! She has a friend named Carly that she talked about playing with. Alex is adjusting very well to her first week of preschool and Missy said she plans on her attending pre-K next year all day. She thrives in a learning environment and she is very smart and loves playing with the other children. She has been very healthy and she's gained weight and looks wonderful! Kendall is 7 months old and she is doing well also. Alex has given her the nickname "Kee Kee", which is so cute! Kendall is a big baby and weighs about 18 pounds right now and I think Alex is hitting the scale at 20 pounds, so there isn't alot of difference in their size. Kendall is sitting and crawling around on the floor and will be walking soon. Alex helps pull Kendall up when she pulls up on the furniture. Alex is a wonderful big sister and despite their close age Alex is nice to Kendall. (the majority of the time...ha ha) Well just wanted to update and let everyone know Alex continues to thrive and is doing wonderfully and everything is great! We'll try and get some preschool pictures on here soon!
