Alexis is home!! Lexi was discharged Thursday, February 21st after over a month of hospital stay. She is so happy to be finally be home. She had the bands in the front of her mouth removed so she can get a little thicker substance in. She is basically existing on KFC mashed potatoes and gravy now. Next week she may get the wires on the side cut and they would leave the braces on for a couple more wks. Her hearing on the right side hasnt improved so there will be a follow up visit in a month with that doctor as well as possibly 6 more doctors. She will have a month of physical therapy 3 times a week and keep the brace on any time she isn't laying down. She has come a long way and we are so proud of her! She has taught us what courage is. She has a long road ahead but no doubt has the stength to encounter anything that is in front of her. Thanks to everyone for your thoughts, prayers and words of encouragment!!!!!!!!!!!! Mom and Dad
