Tomorrow, June 12 marks one year since Alex went to live in Heaven.  We can't beleive that it's been a whole year since we've seen his face or held his hand.  We miss him terribly and would give anything to have him back.  Everyday continues to be a challenge for us.  Everywhere we go and everything we do reminds us of Alex.  He would have just finished his third grade year in school.

Zoe misses her brother very much too.  She talkes about him daily.  She feels close to him by wearing his clothes and playing with his toys.  Just the other day, she was looking for his picture in her yearbook and was highly upset that it wasn't there.  It saddens us to know that she will never be able to experience school with her brother.  Zoe just graduated from kindergarten and is looking forward to a great summer vacation.  We are very proud of her success.

We are leaving for the beach on Sat. June 13.  We will be surrounded by family.  Hopefully they will be a good distractionfor us.

Though we continue to struggle here on Earth, we know Alex is celebrating being cancer free in Heaven.
