WOW! What a long day! We just got home and its after 5pm. Alex had chemo at 11this morning and went down for radiation but the machine was broken. We waited for an hour and a half but the machine was never repaired. Then we found out that Alex's potassium levels were low and he needed a transfusion. We were encouraged today by Alex's courage and strength as he preferred to walk through the hospital rather than ride in the wheele chair. Alex had a very rough night last night. He experienced nausea, stomach pain, and severe leg cramps. The attack lasted for about 30 minutes to an hour and eased off with the help of Benedryl and lots of boosts from his Morphine pump. The Dr.'s think the attack was brought on by the low levels of postassium. Thank you so much for the delicious food thats been coming in, all your support and countinus prayers. We are blessed to have so many wonderful people in our lives.
