Must be some heavy ESP going on as I was just thinking of you today!  So glad to hear that Alex is doing so well...glad but not surprised.  He always had such a great spirit and with the loving support you have given him, he couldn't miss!  I am so distressed to see kids and families riding bikes in heavy traffic areas without helmets.  I have come so close to pulling over in my car to give them the lecture.

Baby Awesome and I will be joining Team Alex for the walk so I hope to see you then,

Patty

I hope Alex and all the family are enjoying the holidays.  It is inspiring to see all the support and effort going into getting Alex back into his regular life, and even more inspiring to see how he is sharing his story.

On CNN I just saw that Michael Schumacher had a skiing accident last Sunday, and even though he was wearing a helmet he is in critical condition.  The line that struck me from the story was "Doctors at the Grenoble hospital said that without the helmet's protection, Schumacher wouldn't have made it to the operating table."

I'm so excited for your progress.  I give lots of thanks to your wonderful parents and to God our Father Doctor.
You are amazing and wonderful for using your mishap to help others.  I am
so proud of you.  Through your efforts - less accidents and less deaths will
occur.
I can't help but stop people who are riding without helmets and tell them  your
story.  So I know you have already made a difference and you have taught
all of us the meaning of family once again. We do sometimes have to be reminded lol.
I would love to see the videos of you at the beach if you could post on facebook.
Give your Dad and Mom and sister a big hug from me.  And know that I love
you with all my heart.  Thank goodness our hearts are big enough to love.
Love you and continue to let us know of your progress.  All is well when my
Alex is well. xxxxoo

I am delighted for the wonderful progress Alex has made and for the plan he has with helmet awareness.  I personally am very much an advocate for helmet use and must have 6 or so on the farm just in case someone wants to be led around on a horse at a walk.  Where I used to work customers would call and make an appointment to have me properly fit their helmet.  Would make house calls
when necessary.  Go for it Alex and parents. You can make a difference.
God Bless you.

Hi Guys,
All the best for a wonderful holiday!  I have been busy getting ready and am excited to spend it with family and friends.  Having "Baby Awesome" makes it even more special because he is fascinated by all the lights and decorations.  Seeing Christmas through a child's eyes is the best and I miss that part of my teaching.  I was thrilled to see a photo of Alex with Brittany on Facebook and glad to get this latest update.  It sounds like he is quite busy but do let me know if there is any way I can help.  All of the goals for his program to help others sound wonderful and his personality will help convince kids his age.  Such an important message.  Love to all,
Patty

My beloved Alex, today I am thanking God for His glorious works to His children. I cried all the way through the last journal entry remembering that every day of this journey, God's grace was sufficient for that day's needs. I giggled through MaMo's story of the you, Lauren, your mom & dad snuggled up together on the couch after the Thanksgiving guests had gone home laughing, hugging & celebrating each other. What an awesome privilege it was for me to witness you four circling together with each crisis & speaking your faith & your love. Love never fails & your family's love and faith are inspirational. We are so blessed to see our fearless warrior growing stronger each day! I love you all to infinity x google!!! ❤️❤️❤️
