Hello to all from Alexa, Chanon and I. I know, I know it has been way to long since we last updated. I really am sorry and have reminded myself many times to update but always seem to have so much going on. Trust me, I am not complaining and in this case no news has most certainly been good news. Our little Beaner's is doing absolutely amazing!!! She is starting her 3rd week of the 4th grade and loves every minute of it. Well, except the early rising, but we are working on that. Alexa is a night owl like her Mama and has a hard time going to bed early.

Alexa will be having her 3rd set of scans next month and the only option is CLEAR!!! Alexa lives each day happy and healthy and tends to only worry about her cancer coming back the day of blood draws and the day before and day of scans. Watching her breathe a sigh of relief each time we get our good news from Dr. Dole is a flash reminder of where we were a year ago and of how lucky we are to be where we are today. Alexa no longer tires easily, has an amazing appetite, a head full of beautiful hair and a face full of color. Wow, does that feel good to write, our Beaner's fought hard and won. On that bright note, we just got word from Make-A-Wish that Alexa's long awaited wish has been granted!!!! Alexa wished for a playhouse furnished with a Pottery Barn kitchen and accessories that she can play house in with all of her friends. We received the call today that they will be granting Alexa's wish and will hopefully start building it very soon. Alexa is so excited, she is beside herself.

As you can tell life in our household is as normal as can be and we are living each day to the fullest. I will be starting Nursing School in October and am really looking forward to achieving my goal I set for myself long ago. I put my schooling on hold to raise Alexa and to be able to stay home with her during the early years. I have enjoyed every second of it more than words can say, and the bond that Alexa and I share has made it more than worth it. However, I am ready to get my career started and with the help of Chanon am able to juggle parenting and school. Speaking of my Hubby and Alexa's amazing Step-dad. Chanon received a promotion and now works in West Chester. All of his hard work paid off, allowing me to stop working to be a full time student. Alexa and I will be spending our evenings together, studying at the kitchen table. Their is no place I would rather be!!!

The Lord continues to bless my little family, life is good, life is really good........

***Please check out all of the new pictures and if you have time write a message to let us know you stopped by to check on the Beaner's***

***Also please continue to check on and pray for all of Alexa's fellow cancer warriors who have fought and who continue to fight***
