Hello! My name is Shannan. I was at Special Kids today for my son's weekly OT visit. That is where I met Alex and his sweet grandmother. She showed me pictures of your gorgeous boy, we began chatting, and I was so moved by his story that I had to hug his grandmother's neck as we both welled up with tears. I really wanted to pray with her right there, but my three year old had thrown herself in the floor for a good old fashioned melt-down. It was all I could do to hold it together in that room full of irritated people, and I felt like we scurried out abrubtly. So I just wanted to let you know that Alex and your family will be in my prayers as he continues his journey of growing and healing. I pray for a godly peace that surpasses all understanding, for wisdom beyond measure when there are no answers to your questions, and for wisdom and guidance upon his team of doctors and caretakers that are helping him along on his journey. May God receive all the glory as your son's story moves others and prompts them to be in continued prayer for him. I look forward to running into them again at Special Kids and watching him progress. I'm grateful that she shared his story with me, it is a privilege to remember him in my prayers.
God bless you and yours!

Praying they approve the therapy. I have a friend with a son who has a Traumatic Brain Injury and they went through this therapy. They seem to think it really helped him (although unfortunately he is going through puberty and things are on a downturn again) but I have heard many great things about this treatment.
As always, praying for you!

I will pray for you to be able to get some rest and that Alex remains cancer free forever.  Keep fighting and don't give up.  You are doing an amazing job and your posts always brings tears to my eyes.  Thank you for posting these updates.  It reminds me to pray for you all.  God Bless and know that others are in this fight with you holding the ropes of prayer.
