WOW the first was more than wonderful... Aleigha walked with her new friend Emily to school and even went in to the lunch room for breakfast without mom and dad... then Tom was told to leave about 5 minutes after getting into the room, for any one new to us, you this is an achivement all in its self. Then about 1/2 hr later she let me go so that I could go help in the office. This was wonderful, sad but wonderful.
Aleigha sits at the PINK table, go figure that one and enjoys sitting with Alex. (hes so shy and a cutie too)
Aleigha took her lunch and enjoyed all of that and so did Mommy and Miss Sherry when we borrowed some of her snacks ( first day of school for workers and helpers dont eat lunch to much to do) Aleigha ate 95% of her lunch I am so proud of her. As I that is one of my fears is that she will not eat at school. She went out side to play too. She got to enjoy sometime in a 1st grade class while her Kindergarten class was in gym. She also had fun in there.
When we got home Aleigha was ready for bed until about 8pm when her second wind came up and she didnt fall asleep until 12am... oh well thats the life of Aleigha.
This morning we took Emily and Jessie to school and then ran Aleigha up to lutheran for clinic.... Danielle was so suprise when she changed Aleighas PICC dressing because my sweet girl slept thru the entire thing. Anyone who has had a bandaid stick to much and had it pulled off knows the feeling of having a dressing changed and she slept.
After that we ran to school, where we were able to get in about an hour before Danielle called and told us that Aleighas ANC is WAY low... 536... to low for school enless she would wear a mask, shes not quit comfortable doing that with her new friends so she cried. I took her up to the office for her lunch and then we just chilled out with Miss Sherry until we heard Mrs Dwire in the hallway with the kids, than we ran went to Media Center, she HAD to go to that special activity because she wanted to make sure Mrs Wilson knew that she couldnt get a book next Tuesday because she would be at Riley, Mrs Wilson said that if Mommy was there Mommy could check on out for her, but mommy wasnt going to be so she told Aleigha that she could check on out on Wed or Mon to make up for it. We went back to the classroom, where Mrs Dwire had Aleighas homework ready for her and Aleigha ate snack and then we came home.
Aleigha was very angry at her counts, she is so loving school and is answering questions and being shy, but Aleigha all in the same ball. Its so great to see... I should learn more from my daughter such as, "Aleigha has cancer, BUT, cancer does not have us!" I am working on that.
Once we got home Aleigha and daddy took a nice nap and she is still sleepy. But thats okay, with counts like that I would be too.
Well I am in the process of making dinner so I better go.
Keep our Princess in your thoughts and prayers...

I know we are getting shirts.. Lets make a difference!
To Mrs Dwire, Thank You for being so understanding today, and everyday, knowing why we stay sometime a little longer with Aleigha, and why some things are more important. To Mr Bobay, Thank You for being a wonderful gift to our school and understanding Aleighas issues and working with us, no matter how small they may be.
GOD bless
Angie and Aleigha ( the angry pink princess who cant go to school this week, or at least until friday)
