Alannah Gillis's Journal
Written Dec 8, 2013 9:07pm by Angie/Alannah's Mom PetersonAlannah will have chemo on Monday which will be the last of this round.
On Thursday Trish Abby Jill and Abby's grandma came to visit at the clinic. We had a party in our room, it was great! The Dude even stopped by!
On Friday Aunt Taryn and Uncle Bob came to visit. It's so nice having visitors at the clinic :) Alannah thinks it's pretty cool!
Dr. Rawwas thought Alannah might want to try the oral version of the main chemo she does at the clinic through IV. Then she won't miss so much school. She excited, but she was told it tastes icky she's a little apprehensive.
Steve and I brought the kids to The Fort up here. They got to see Santa and mrs. Santa and some elves. Alannah got her face painted and got to shop at the elves store which is only for the kids to shop at she could get gifts for the family, very special. We heard some wonderful storytelling and learned about different evergreen trees. Super fun, so glad we went. We will be going again next year!
Alannah enjoyed putting on her Christmas dress and feeling like a princess, thank you Grandma Debi!
Love to all,
