I have been checking my mailbox a lot lately hoping to see the paper from the court although it is rather early to be receiving it. But today I noticed something in my mailbox and IT WAS MY PAPER FROM THE COURT!!!! This is a big deal because now that i have the paper in my hand our waiting can begin. It seems that our 90 days of waiting will start in 15 days (not sure why) but that would mean our 90 days of waiting will be done around the middle of November. After this waiting is done, then we will have an evaluation done by the child protection and then do a few papers and submit them for our final court date. I am hoping to get this all submitted before Christmas!!! This is all hoping that there is no hold ups!! Then we would hopefully get a court date for January or February and be home by March or April.....this is all figuring that everything goes ok. Please pray that we would be able to get home before my birthday (April 22). It seems like such a long time still but we are in the home stretch! At least we can kind of see the end now!! I have been in Romania for OVER 5 AND A HALF YEARS!!! I love it here but I am ready to be back home with my family! Adi is ready too!!
Adi has been having some reactions to some bug/mosquito bites. He has been scratching so he has open sores on his arms and legs and he had a reaction to something on his arm that got red, hot and VERY swollen. Poor kid is so sensitive to things like that!! Otherwise he is doing pretty good. He still has that cough that NEVER goes away! We should be going to th e hospital in the next few weeks as soon as we talk to his doctor and make an appointment for his CT scan. It has been 6 months now since we have been for any checkup. He had his last CT scan in February! I will update once we have a date for his scan! I hate scan time, esp. when so many kids are relapsing and dying of NB! I heard of 3 kids dying of NB in the last 2 days! My son is EXTREMELY lucky and blessed and I will tell him that for the rest of his life!! Pray for continued good health for my little man!!
