Well we are HOME!!!! We were discharged from the hospital on Monday. We both had to independently spend 24 hours taking care of Addison. They made us each leave the hospital while the other did the independent cares. We had to do everything while the nurses and therapists observed. We both passed. Then on Sunday we were required to take a road-trip. They gave us a pass to leave the hospital, so we went to lunch and then to Toys R Us. Addison was very happy. She was not happy to come back to the hospital. So the whole hospital stay was 2 weeks instead of 4 weeks. This was great because a month is a long time. Grandpa and Grandma kept Haley busy. In fact, Haley went bumper bowling and had a blast. We are now adjusting to life at home with a trach. Some of our old procedures for taking care of Addison need to be adjusted as well as where we store medical supplies. Nursing started as well. We have 3 nurses that will be covering weekdays. Thank you to everyone for your love, support and prayers.

Love,
Justin and Shannon
