I have been following Adam since the beginning although I don't know when I started?  But how far he has come is a miracle.  Prayers do work.  It has been awhile since I have heard any updates so I was happily surprised to open my email and find Adam's entry.  God bless all of you.  Stay strong in God.

Haylie, I have been keeping up with your posts since Adam's accident. You and your family are an inspiration. YOU are the "strong" in Stafford Strong! You don't know me but Chris does, I was his babysitter when he lived on Judalon Rd. My husband Neal is a trooper and accident reconstructionist, he sees many accidents involving people that don't wear seat belts. 60% of fatalities that happen on our roads/highways are due to people not wearing their seat belt. You are doing a wonderful thing by speaking, God is working through you! You and your family continue to stay strong and do not lose your faith, God will always be there for you. Our prayers are with you and your family.

Ahhh Haylie,

Think God is calling your bluff, you claim Philippians 4:13, which is also my favorite.  God Says OK speak for Adam and I will give you the words.!

Have liked the FB page but sometimes depending on when you post we could miss it which is why I favor CaringBridge.

Keep being Adam's voice and see what God will do.

God bless,

Praise God each day,  He does answer our prayers. I have found that I now longer ask God for anything but thank him for everything.  I came across your Facebook page and started reading some of the entrees,  I was very happy to see that you have had the blessing to talk with Terri Stanton, Joseph Stanton mother.  She is a very strong lady and it sounds like you are just as strong in your faith also.  My son Randal fell from his third floor balcony in Lubbock, Texas (Texas Tech) 10/18/2009, The journey began that night, we have kept our faith in the Great God above and he continues to heal my son each day.  Randal spent 6 months at TIRR and that is where we met the Stanton's.  We were there for a follow up and Dr. Tastard ask if we would talk with a young man named Joseph.  I went in first and a few minutes later Randal walked up,  When he first got to TIRR he was able to move a big toe and his left finger.  God is Good,  Randal has just started his 5 post accident college semester today.  Tell Adam that Big Moose (Randal) and I will be adding him to our prayer list just as we did for Joseph. Stay strong in Christ !     ** Stafford Strong** for Adam

I am glad Adam is continuing to improve. I'm sorry he had the seizure,
but I'm glad he has had his medicines reduced since then. I pray Adam
continues to improve. May God bless him with a renewed strength and
vigor for this year. May his therapy go well and be beneficial in all
areas of his recovery.

I've mentioned to you before another TBI
student named Callie Cole. She is from Brookhaven, MS. I think your
family and hers could compare notes and help each other.
http://www.caringbridge.org/visit/calliecole I believe she and Adam
could have been really good friends. She was the pitcher for her
school's softball team. I hope you will look her up.

I just wanted to let you know that I am sure so many of us that are going through this TBI trial with our loved ones follow other TBI families like yours. I found out about Adam through Joseph Stanton's CB and have read your updates for a while now. Although its not my child, but my husband. Shawn Goff is my husband and has a caringbridge site. I love how you express what you are going through because I feel like I am right there with you, especially with this last post. All of your feelings and struggles and Satan pulling at you and your struggle with your faith and hearing God talk to you and show you to "Never Give Up". I needed to hear that for sure tonight! I am praying for all of you, stay strong!

Haylie, Your post was incredible, and I could copy and paste several paragraphs and put them right on Danielle's page. The IBRF doctors were FABULOUS and they will be sharing the knowledge and ebservations regarding the tests and evaluations they performed on Danielle with us the beginning of this week! I would love to correspond with you and share any information we receive in hopes that you can discuss it with your team of doctors... I have sent you an email to elliot_stafford@yahoo.com from the bottom of this page... hopefully it is the correct address :0)

Adam and your family will be in my prayers.

Thank you for sharing your witness with us of God's amazing grace and His ability to help you defeat satan (I don't honor him by capitalizing his name). What an incredible testimony. I'm sorry Adam has been suffering so, but I'm glad to see he is improving overall. When God seems to have opened a door, like He did in you learning about the group from the caringbridge sites you follow, you are right to walk toward it. God will show you the way, and if it's not that, He may delay it or stop it all together. Keep the faith. Adam is alive for a purpose.

Hi Haylie! You, Adam and your family continue to be in our prayers.  When I read my emails this morning, the below email had arrived almost immediately after your Sunday update.  It's about an adult who needs help in central Florida with a traumatic brain injury.  He is looking for resources in Florida, and because the two emails came almost simultaneously, I thought perhaps you might have some ideas for him, or that your wonderful prayer network could pray for him.  Here is the email:

Dear SOLACE members,

The brother of a New Orleans SOLACE attorney member was
in a devastating motorcycle accident in Brandenton, Florida on November 2nd,
2012.  He was in an injury-induced coma and although awake, it is clear he
still has significant cognitive issues.  He has a traumatic brain injury
and although he is getting better slowly, it is apparent he has a very long
road ahead.  Unfortunately, there was little insurance coverage and
the at-fault driver really has no assets or resources to help with his medical
bills – and they are stacking up.  Further, he has no health
insurance.  He has been in a hospital trauma unit since the accident but
the care for him there appears to be growing to its end and it is now time to
try and find him medical care for the long rehabilitation. His brother lives in Florida.<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />

SOLACE REQUEST:  This is not a solicitation for
funds.  Our fellow attorney is looking for any resources in central
Florida for those with a traumatic brain injury to assist in finding him
medical care – anything from a good public support group to a viable public
option.  If you can assist, please contact Scott directly

Haylie, there is NO OTHER momma in the world who could use her words the way you do.  God is using Adam, yes, but he is using YOU every minute and is giving you strength beyond measure to minister to others.  It is an honor for me to be a part of your journey and to be one of your prayer warriors.  YOU bless my heart with your openness and honesty.  I love you dearly.  PK

Haylie, I admire your strength and your faith. Adam is so blessed to have you for a mom. You fight for him when no one else will! Never give up! God has done amazing things in Adam's journey and I don't believe he's through yet. Adam remains on our Circle of Joy Sunday School Prayer List at First Baptist, Franklinton. Love and Hugs to all of you........
