My Story

Love is a fire no waters avail to quench, no floods drown; for love one will give up all possessions in the world and think nothing of the loss

First, I should let you know our trip to Mayo went well. All in all, things look good for both Abygail and Madysen.  We did get something to protect their chests for now, but this will be a work in progress it looks it. As always, there are things we are concerned about, but we will keep on eye on these issues and hope and pray for the best. Alot of times, there are just no answers to the questions we have, and that gets frustrating, but overall, how can we not be happy with how they are doing? They are amazing little girls.

I updated some pictures. Some of recent weeks and some from pictures I got from Mayo(from the girls surgery) while we were there. I haven't had a chance to really go through them but wanted to put a couple on. Thanks to Lee for getting them for me. You are the best. Also, he did a little update while we were there you can check out : http://sharing.mayoclinic.org/2009/06/04/suzy-fitterer-we-have-two-normal-two-year-olds/    . I am amazed he had any usable footage as it was in between 5 visits in one day and no nap and little did they know, but we had a long drive ahead of us. Abby was clearly in a better mood (for 5 minutes.)  The trip was too short, but we got in some quick visits with at least a couple of super wonderful people we wanted to see(and missed many others). At least, unlike the last trip in which our airplane was grounded and we had to take a bus to the Cities and missed our connector flight at 10:30 at night, we made it home without too much hassle.  It is always a whirlwind trip no matter how I plan. Oh, should tell you on the way there, the girls were getting VERY unhappy and my Mom, trying to calm them down, slid into the backseat with them and ended up getting stuck halfway in between. They both started giggling at Grandma and we made it that last 20 minutes. What we won't do for our grandkids, right Mom?

Nick is keeping himself busy and we are hoping the weather straightens out so we can spend alittle more time outside. Should be an interesting summer with all this rain. But we'll take it. Now we only have to worry about a giant mosquito swooping down and carrying one of the girls away.  :)

Well, I will continue to go through pictures and hope to add some again soon. Our family would like to send prayers to sweet little Kaylee and we will be hoping all goes well for her and her family.  Hope this wasn't too long or short and thanks for peeking in on us. Have a great summer.
