Well Abby had her 6 month visit on Friday 4/18. She had some additional tests done to do a more thorough check of everything. Dr. Joshi told us that if everything looked good with her bloodwork, CT Scan and Skeletal Survey, that they would not need to see her for a full year. By the time we left Marshfield, Dr. Joshi felt that so far all the tests looked good, so she had us make a tentative 1 year appointment. I got a call from her today stating that her CT Scan of her lungs looks the same. What this means is that she still has some very small nodules in her lungs, but they are unchanged and if it were related to Histiocytosis she feels that it definitely would have changed. She also said that many people can have those types of nodules. The X-Ray specialist saw something on her lower right leg bone that may or may not be something. They wondered if maybe she had gotten bumped or kicked there. I suppose that is possible with her playing basketball and what not. He didn't want to just dismiss it, so he has requested her previous skeletal survey from Ann Arbor so that he can make a comparison. Dr. Joshi said that she truly didn't feel that it would be anything to worry about, but just to be safe they wanted to do the comparison. Obviously as a mother I will worry until I hear them say "It's nothing!" So please keep Abby in your prayers until we get the final word! Thanks to all and God Bless, Patty
