Welcome to Abby Bauleke's Caringbridge website. It has been created to keep family and friends updated about her progress with her leukemia. Abby has, also, been diagnosed with a form of Guillian-Barre. This is not a normal complication from the leukemia, but from a infection. This happened just a month after diagnosis. Abby had a good week...a busy few days.

Therapy yesterday was a wonder, I am scared that the Botox is starting to wear off....but she may have been tired, did not want to do much. Can't blame her for a "blah" day--once in awhile. We will keep at it..and see what is what.

Abby had the last day of Daisy's (little kid Girl Scouts) and each girl had to give a speech about one part of the Pledge. Boy, did Abby take that serious, practiced and had to go first...she was talking about "fairness and honesty". She did good and gave two good examples. The leaders gave them all a bouquet of Daisies....very fun.

Today, she had "Open Exploration"...where a family member can come and see what is going on in the classroom and do some projects....Ben came (after forgetting about it, and having Mommy roaming around the Eagle Ridge School at last bell on a Friday---WOW did I feel o-l-d.) He got there just in time, she was "just starting" to get nervous.

This weekend, Chris is ice fishing, I mean, season opening fishing...Ben has some Baseball stuff...Em has a Soccer tournament...Abby has violin and off to a sleepover at Grandma/Grandpa in Austin...and I am....getting everyone to those mentioned spots. And we will all come together Sunday early evening for a Mothers Day Dinner.

Have a good Mothers Day to all the moms out there. God Bless.

Abby is lucky...yes, lucky. SO many people are praying for her. Some leave messages and some keep updated...she is thankful for both.
