On 12-12, Aaron Phillips a 19 year old homeschool graduate suffered massive head injuries as a result of a vehicle accident. He was airlifted to Strong Memorial Hospital where he remains in ICU.

I will copy the e-mails that were sent out over the past week to the journal section so everyone can follow Aaron's story.

Down from His glory,
Ever living story,
My God and Savior came,
And Jesus was His Name.
Born in a manger,
To His own a stranger,
A Man of sorrows, tears and agony.

O how I love Him! How I adore Him!
My breath, my sunshine, my all in all.
The great Creator became my Savior,
And all God’s fullness dwelleth in Him.

What condescension,
Bringing us redemption;
That in the dead of night,
Not one faint hope in sight,
God, gracious, tender,
Laid aside His splendor,
Stooping to woo, to win, to save my soul.

O how I love Him! How I adore Him!
My breath, my sunshine, my all in all.
The great Creator became my Savior,
And all God’s fullness dwelleth in Him
.

Without reluctance,
Flesh and blood His substance,
He took the form of man,
Revealed the hidden plan,
O glorious myst’ry
Sacrifice of Calv’ry,
And now I know Thou art the great “I Am.”

O how I love Him! How I adore Him!
My breath, my sunshine, my all in all.
The great Creator became my Savior,
And all God’s fullness dwelleth in Him.

I wanted to begin today by sharing the words to this great hymn:

DOWN FROM HIS GLORY

By

William Booth-Clibborn,

Everyone that has visited the pages of this caring bridge site over the past 6 months knows of my love of music, especially the old hymns of our faith. We sang this song in church on Palm Sunday and I have been singing it ever since. I pray that the words will lift your eyes to the Throne of Grace today.

Marty talked to John yesterday and I thought that I would pass along an update.

Aaron is still making progress and still working on his rehab. He would however, love to be finished with the rehab he really feels that he can do all this on his own and doesnt need to continue formal rehab!!

Aaron is very anxious to return to work. He is doing more each week. When we talked to John, Aaron was outside tilling the garden……

He has begun to walk around the country block each day and is still getting stronger.

The treatment that Holly explained in her last note on caring bridge seems to be working and they can see some improvement.

This is all the information I have at the moment I will provide more when I know anything.

Be Blessed today by our Lord and Savior.

Rita
